Agatha Top and Dress sewing pattern (2T to 14 years)
|Here is the Agatha Top and Dress sewing pattern (2T to 14 years).
You will love its style with its soft flowing pleats or gathers and its “V” neckline or optional tie collar!
The pattern comes with an amazing number of options. There are four sleeve options – flutters, short, 3/4 with or without elastic, plus sleeveless. There are three different lengths – short top, long top, or vintage dress. And if that weren’t enough, there’s even an option to line or not to line the yoke!
For the Agatha Top or Dress the designer, Jilly Atlanta, says you can use a variety of woven fabrics, such as rayon, cotton, chambray, lightweight linen, gauze, swiss dot, cotton voile, gingham, lightweight flannel. Really, anything lightweight. Because of the pleats or gathers, it has a bit of ease and therefore flows nicely in fabrics with drape.
The designer rates her pattern as suitable for a confident beginner sewer.
This pattern comes with two yoke construction options, unlined or lined. Thus, there are two different instruction files, one for either method you wish to sew.
The pattern comes in ten sizes, as follows:-
- 2T,
- 3T,
- 4T,
- 5,
- 6,
